Mama Bubz has been staying with me since I got back from the hospital on Monday and it’s been so lovely being babied by her again. I’m going to be wearing a compression garment over the next 6 weeks to assist the swelling and healing but she keeps showing up in my bedroom with soup, fruit, tea, more fruit, Swiss rolls and more fruit and I don’t have the heart to turn her away. We spend most of the day together and when she goes out to run errands, my highlight is when she returns again (with more food of course). Cherishing this bonding time while I recover. I am amazed and thankful how relatively painless and comfortable my TT recovery has been so far. Apparently the first week is the most rough and it really wasn’t that bad at all for me.
